A Switch in Time: State-of-the-Art Strategies for ART Modification in People With Virologically Suppressed HIV

As innovations in antiretroviral therapy (ART) continue to expand the range of highly effective options for people living with HIV, the threshold for ART modification in the setting of virologically suppressed HIV is changing. Current guidelines emphasize tailoring ART to the individual, selecting the regimen that best aligns with a person’s current lifestyle and minimizes the risk of complications. This program was created to help healthcare professionals deepen their understanding of new and emerging ART agents to more confidently incorporate them into current practice and proactively discuss ART switch for people with virologically suppressed HIV.
