The goal of this activity is to strengthen learners’ ability to identify opportunities for safe and effective ART switching, tailor regimen changes to each person’s unique circumstances and preferences, and incorporate novel ART options into individualized ART modification strategies.

This activity is intended for physicians, pharmacists, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals who provide care for people living with HIV.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Guide clinical conversations to ascertain instances when patients may wish to switch a suppressive regimen
  • Implement ART regimen switches in virologically suppressed individuals to support optimal long-term clinical outcomes
  • Apply emerging ART agents to expand the range of options for tailoring an optimal, individualized regimen for each person living with HIV
