Closing Practice Gaps in Systemic Mastocytosis: A Skills-Based Intensive for APPs

  • Explain the underlying biology and disease heterogeneity of systemic mastocytosis, including key pathogenic mechanisms, clinical phenotypes, and conditions that commonly mimic SM in practice
  • Apply current consensus diagnostic frameworks—including clinical, laboratory, and pathologic criteria—to accurately identify systemic mastocytosis and determine disease subtype
  • Critically appraise emerging clinical evidence on targeted and disease-modifying therapies for systemic mastocytosis to support appropriate treatment selection and sequencing
  • Develop individualized, patient-centered management strategies that integrate shared decision-making, symptom burden, comorbidities, and multidisciplinary care coordination for patients with SM

Think You Know JAK? Essential Evidence to Aid Your Clinical Implementation of JAK Inhibitors in Atopic Dermatitis, Alopecia Areata, and Vitiligo

  • Incorporate long-term safety and efficacy data for JAK inhibitors into treatment strategies for patients with atopic dermatitis
  • Evaluate recent clinical evidence for current and emerging JAK inhibitors in alopecia areata
  • Identify patients with vitiligo most likely to benefit from JAK inhibitor therapies based on emerging clinical trial evidence
  • Determine the role of JAK-STAT signaling in the pathophysiology of AA, AD, and vitiligo
  • Develop appropriate monitoring plans for patients with AA, AD, and vitiligo receiving JAK inhibitor therapy
