Target Audience

This educational activity is designed for hearing care specialists and genetic counselors, including pediatric otolaryngologists, otologists, audiologists, medical geneticists, nurse practitioners, and physician associates involved in the evaluation and management of pediatric sensorineural hearing loss.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Select an appropriate genetic testing strategy for pediatric SNHL cases

  • Apply genetic panel findings, in collaboration with genetic counselors, as part of individualized management planning in pediatric SNHL
