Target Audience

This activity is intended for United States physicians, pharmacists, nurses, advanced practice providers, and other healthcare professionals who provide antiretroviral therapy for people living with HIV and/or PrEP for people who may benefit from it.

Program Learning Goal

The goal of this activity is to improve healthcare professionals’ competence in adopting LA ART and LA PrEP into routine clinical practice by delivering targeted education that increases awareness of these agents’ clinical value and equips learners with practical strategies for navigating payer requirements, coordinating specialty pharmacy workflows, and integrating injection visits into sustainable care models.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Implement best practices for initiating and managing LA ART and PrEP specialty pharmacy processes, including order submission, shipment tracking, pharmacy coordination, and delay resolution strategies to ensure timely access, delivery, and continuity
