Target Audience

This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of oncology nurses and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with CML.

Program Learning Goal

This activity aims to improve learners’ knowledge and competence in the nursing management of patients with CP-CML who are receiving or eligible for TKI therapy.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

Support shared decision-making by educating patients with CP-CML about the latest clinical evidence and regulatory approvals for TKIs that are most likely to meet their treatment goals
Apply evidence-based strategies for supportive care and dose optimization to manage TKI-related adverse events in patients with CP-CML
Identify patients with CP-CML at risk for suboptimal adherence/persistence to their TKI therapy
