InterACT-ing Across the AUD Care Continuum: Integrating Patient Perspectives Into Team-Based Recognition and Treatment

Slideset

Alcohol use disorder (AUD) recognition can be clinically challenging. Many patients may be hesitant to disclose their alcohol use, and it often emerges in clinical care through another complaint furthering the difficulty. This downloadable slideset uses patient-informed clinical scenarios to examine recognition and assessment of AUD, evidence-based pharmacologic and behavioral treatment options, patient-centered goal setting, and coordinated care across clinical settings to equip healthcare professionals with the skills needed to better assist patients with AUD.
