Redefining Success: Individualizing HBV Care

Despite the availability of effective antiviral therapies for hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, these agents rarely lead to loss of hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) or functional cure. Recently, experts have proposed a stepwise framework of individualized endpoints, ranging from durable on-treatment suppression to partial cure to functional cure, based on patient-specific factors and biomarker profiles. This program is designed to help healthcare professionals stay up to date with the evolving landscape of HBV and the current evidence on emerging HBV therapies.
