ZEROing in on HAE: Achieving Patient-Centered Care Goals With Long-term Prophylaxis

Despite advances in long-term prophylaxis for hereditary angioedema (HAE), many patients continue to experience unpredictable attacks, substantial quality-of-life burdens, and barriers to achieving optimal disease control. This activity explores strategies for assessing HAE disease control and identifying unmet patient needs, reviews the latest evidence for novel targeted prophylactic therapies, and highlights shared decision-making approaches to individualize treatment, reduce treatment burden, and support the goal of zero attacks and normalization of patients’ lives.
