Target Audience
This educational activity is intended for nephrology physicians, nurse practitioners and physician associates.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

From Pathogenesis to Practice: A B-Cell–Focused Update in IgAN Management and Treatment

  • Characterize the role of B-cells and the cytokines BAFF and APRIL in the pathogenesis of IgA nephropathy
  • Differentiate the complementary and distinct functions of BAFF and APRIL, including clinical evidence supporting dual inhibition strategies in IgAN
  • Integrate updated guideline recommendations and emerging evidence to optimize treatment selection, including proteinuria reduction and remission targets, in patients with IgAN

From Dysregulation to Direction: New Horizons in C3G Management and Treatment

  • Explain the role of complement dysregulation—particularly alternative pathway overactivation—in the pathogenesis and progression of C3 glomerulopathy and related complement-mediated kidney diseases
  • Develop strategies to improve early recognition, differential diagnosis, and appropriate referral of patients with suspected C3 glomerulopathy, including interpretation of clinical features and renal biopsy findings for accurate disease classification
  • Apply evidence-based approaches to the management of complement-mediated kidney disease, including interpretation of clinical trial data on targeted therapies and integration of monitoring strategies (eGFR, proteinuria, and hematuria) to guide treatment decisions and assess disease progression
