The goal for this activity is to improve learners’ competence in integrating strategies for optimizing influenza vaccinations in pediatric and/or adult patients.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for primary care physicians, pediatricians, nurse practitioners, nurses, pharmacists, and other HCPs who provide influenza vaccine services for adult and/or pediatric patients.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Counsel patients on the broad individual and public health benefits of improving influenza vaccination rates among pediatric and adult populations
  • Provide individualized influenza vaccine recommendations that allow patients and caregivers to tailor vaccine selection to lifestyle and preferences
  • Formulate strategies to optimize clinical solutions such as point-of-care prompts for influenza vaccine recommendations into existing workflows
  • Promote influenza vaccine confidence among patients demonstrating complacency or hesitancy, providing clinical evidence on benefits and safety
