Goal Statement
This educational activity aims to improve oncology nurses’ knowledge and competence in identifying and managing TRAEs associated with antibody–drug conjugate therapies in HER2-negative breast cancer.

Target Audience
This activity is intended for oncology nurses and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with breast cancer.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Discuss how structural, mechanistic, and unique characteristics, including the “bystander effect,” of antibody-drug conjugates contribute to differing toxicities and adverse event profiles

  • Identify and manage toxicities associated with TROP2-directed ADCs in breast cancer, applying strategies to mitigate these adverse events effectively

  • Apply evidence-based communication strategies to integrate patients’ treatment goals, preferences, and quality of life considerations into decisions related to ADC therapy selection and supportive care
