Goal Statement
This activity aims to improve knowledge, confidence, and competence in managing prostate cancer by providing evidence-based guidance on PARP inhibitor combinations, biomarker testing, and adverse event management, thereby optimizing clinical outcomes.

Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of urologists, oncologists, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients with prostate cancer.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply guideline concordance in the integration of biomarker and genetic mutation testing (including HRR, BRCA, and non-BRCA mutations) into clinical practice for patients with prostate cancer, including appropriate timing and interpretation of test results

  • Evaluate clinical trial data on PARPi combination therapies and determine appropriate sequencing and patient selection strategies based on mutation status, prior treatment, and comorbidities

  • Implement best practices for initiating guideline-concordant care for patients with mPC, ensuring timely and appropriate use of PARPi combinations based on current clinical evidence

  • Coordinate multidisciplinary care approaches, including early urology-oncology collaboration, to ensure timely biomarker testing, patient-centered treatment decisions, and access to clinical trials
