A Switch in Time: State-of-the-Art Strategies for ART Modification in Virologically Suppressed People Living With HIV

Most people living with HIV in your practice are virologically suppressed and doing well, which raises the questions of when to change an antiretroviral regimen that is working, and why. The case for switching rests on subtle differences in tolerability, metabolic effects, drug–drug interactions, resistance barrier, and mode of administration that can be decisive for a given individual. In this interactive, case-based symposium, an expert faculty panel will work through commonly encountered clinical scenarios to reveal how and why they choose among an expanded array of switch options.
