  • Patients with major depressive disorder often experience persistent residual symptoms despite treatment, contributing to ongoing functional impairment and relapse risk. Through interactive, case-based discussions, polling, and expert guidance, this session will equip primary care providers with practical strategies to recognize partial response, identify residual symptoms such as anhedonia and cognitive dysfunction, and make evidence-based decisions regarding treatment optimization, augmentation, and referral.

  • Explore the link between type 2 diabetes (T2D) and cardiometabolic comorbidities, such as cardiovascular disease (CVD), emphasizing the need for a more comprehensive approach to T2D management. Highlight the importance of managing cardiovascular risk in adults with T2D who have or are at high risk for CVD. Review key findings from two cardiovascular outcomes trials (CVOT) across two GLP-1 RA treatment options. Dosing and administration information will also be discussed.

Through interactive polling, real-world patient cases, and expert guidance, this session will equip primary care providers with practical strategies to recognize agitation, distinguish it from other conditions, engage caregivers as partners in care, and develop individualized management plans that support both patient and caregiver well-being.
