9:05 AM - 10:05 AM Frontline Forward in Obesity Management: From Early Intervention to Lifelong Impact in Primary Care – Supported by an educational grant from Lilly – Presented by Jaime Almandoz, MD, MBA, DABOM, FTOS

  • Join an expert in obesity management for an interactive, case-based session designed specifically for primary care providers. Through real-world patient scenarios, polling, and discussion, learners will explore practical, evidence-based strategies for chronic disease management, individualized treatment planning, and long-term obesity care.

10:05 AM - 11:05 AM Data that Drives Decisions: GLP-1 RA for T2D Across CV and Renal Outcomes – Non-CME Educational Session, Managed by Decera Clinical Insights – Presented by Jacqueline M. Champlain, MD, MBA

  • Recognize the importance of addressing increased cardiovascular (CV) and renal risk in adult patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and/or cardiovascular disease (CVD) and review guideline recommendations for managing these patient populations. Explore findings from a trial which evaluated the impact of a therapy on cardiorenal outcomes in adult patients with T2D and CKD. The audience will then have the opportunity to explore an additional outcomes trial in the CVD and T2D space.

This non-CME educational program is sponsored by Novo Nordisk and managed by Decera Clinical Insights.

11:05 AM - 12:05 PM The Primary Challenge: Making Adjunctive Add Up in MDD – Supported by an educational grant from Intra-Cellular Therapies, Inc. – Presented by Joseph F. Goldberg, MD

  • Patients with major depressive disorder often experience persistent residual symptoms despite treatment, contributing to ongoing functional impairment and relapse risk. Through interactive, case-based discussions, polling, and expert guidance, this session will equip primary care providers with practical strategies to recognize partial response, identify residual symptoms such as anhedonia and cognitive dysfunction, and make evidence-based decisions regarding treatment optimization, augmentation, and referral.

2:10 PM - 3:10 PM When Antidepressants Aren’t Enough: The Role of Adjunctive Atypical Antipsychotics in Major Depressive Disorder - Non-CME Educational Session, Managed by Decera Clinical Insights - Presented by C. Brendan Montano, MD
