Target Audience

Oncologists, nurse practitioners, physician associates, pharmacists, nurses, and other HCPs caring for patients with melanoma.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Integrate neoadjuvant and adjuvant immunotherapy strategies for patients with resectable melanoma into clinical practice, utilizing recent data and standardized pathologic response assessments to guide perioperative decision-making

  • Evaluate the clinical efficacy and logistical requirements of individualized neoantigen therapy for high-risk resected melanoma, including the importance of high-quality tissue preparation by pathologists and managing patients while waiting for personalized therapy to be manufactured

  • Formulate evidence-based immunotherapy treatment plans for unresectable or metastatic melanoma, including patients demonstrating primary or secondary resistance to PD-1-targeted immunotherapy

  • Implement standardized multidisciplinary protocols for the early recognition and management of high-grade and chronic immune-related adverse events associated with melanoma immunotherapy
