Step 1 of 2
This downloadable slideset examines evolving treatment strategies for tenosynovial giant cell tumor (TGCT), with emphasis on individualized decision-making for patients with symptomatic, progressive, or function-limiting disease. The slideset reviews when observation, surgery, systemic therapy, or combined approaches may be appropriate; the limitations and potential morbidity of surgery, particularly in diffuse-type TGCT; and phase III evidence from the ENLIVEN and MOTION trials investigating CSF1R-targeted therapies. In addition, the slideset discusses emerging agents, treatment duration and sequencing, monitoring for progressive joint damage, and the role of multidisciplinary care and shared decision-making in balancing disease control, treatment burden, toxicity, quality of life, and preservation of joint function.
