This activity is intended for neurologists, PAs and NPs practicing on neurology teams, and neuromuscular specialists.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify clinical and system-level factors that contribute to delayed diagnosis and ongoing disease burden in people with MSA

  • Apply guideline-directed diagnostic criteria for MSA into a differential diagnosis pathway in the real-world neurology practice

  • Explain the potential role of alpha-synuclein in the pathophysiology of MSA and how emerging evidence for mechanism-informed therapeutic strategies may improve future patient care
