Management of major depressive disorder becomes more complex when initial antidepressant treatment improves symptoms but does not achieve remission or functional recovery.   • Implement strategies for optimizing the management of persistent symptoms for complex or special populations with MDD to optimize long-term outcomes and functional recovery
