Target Audience

This activity is intended for physicians, pharmacists, nurses, and other HCPs who provide care for people living with HIV. 

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Understand the spectrum of healthcare needs and priorities experienced by transgender people and the place of HIV among them

  • Implement strategies to improve linkage to HIV care, retention in care, and ART adherence for transgender people living with HIV

  • Provide person-centered and gender-affirmative HIV care for transgender people living with HIV

  • Anticipate and address key concerns that transgender people may have regarding antiretroviral therapy
