Target Audience

This activity is designed for medical students, residents, fellows, and early-stage clinicians, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and pharmacists, who currently have limited experience in HIV treatment and prevention and wish to improve their competence in incorporating best practices into their patient care, today and in the future.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply best practices in addressing the primary care needs of people living with HIV and selecting appropriate first-line ART regimens and switches between ART regimens using shared decision-making
