Target Audience

This educational activity is intended for nurse practitioners and physician associates who provide vaccine services for children and adolescents.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Apply evidence-based messaging when recommending vaccines for hesitant parents and caregivers

  • Counter vaccine misinformation with correction strategies that demonstrate efficacy in promoting accurate information

  • Build resilience against vaccine misinformation and mistrust among parents and caregivers by continual education and “prebunking”
