Target Audience

This activity is intended for internal medicine and family medicine physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician associates who care for patients with sHTG, including FCS.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the pathophysiological mechanisms and diagnostic criteria of severely elevated triglycerides, including FCS

  • Evaluate the risks of severely elevated triglycerides in patients with FCS and the unmet therapeutic need in this population

  • Assess the latest clinical safety and efficacy data on new and emerging therapies for sHTG and FCS
