Goal Statement
The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge and competence of certified diabetes care and education specialist healthcare professionals with the latest evidence on weekly insulin formulations in development, equipping healthcare professionals with the skills needed to incorporate emerging therapies once available by identifying appropriate patients, analyzing recent evidence for novel and emerging therapies, and counseling patients on the safe use of these therapies to achieve glycemic goals in patients with T2D.

This educational activity is intended for certified diabetes care and education specialists and other healthcare professionals involved in the care of patients with type 2 diabetes, including physicians, nurse practitioners, physician associates, registered dietitian nutritionists, and pharmacists.
