The goal of this activity is to improve the knowledge, competence, and performance of learners in an effort to optimize treatment for patients experiencing menopause. 

Target Audience
This activity is intended for internal medicine and other healthcare professionals involved in the management of patients experiencing menopause including physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician associates.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this event, participants should be able to:

  • Identify the varied clinical manifestations of menopause—including vasomotor symptoms and sleep disturbances—to support timely recognition and individualized assessment
  • Integrate current evidence-based treatment options, both hormonal and nonhormonal, to inform personalized management plans tailored to each patient’s personal preferences and medical history
  • Implement culturally responsive, patient-centered communication strategies to foster engagement, encourage open symptom reporting, and promote adherence to recommended therapies across diverse patient populations
